It is all about Roundabouts!

 DelDOT's new roundabout on Warrington Rd, in front of the new Beebe facility, raises concerns:

  • How are bikers supposed to cross the street there?

  • Is the inner circle large enough to accommodate large tractor trailers?

'Practice makes perfect' will be tested as DelDOT installs more roundabouts. DelDOT's Year-2045-Buildout plan for Henlopen TID includes 13 roundabouts, including one on Rt 24.

 DelDOT engineers told the public that the Roundabouts are different from the Traffic Circles. A traffic expert sent us the following diagram that illustrates the differences.
